In my opinion I think that the Constitution does not resolve conflict because the Constitution helps the citizens, it protects our rights and it also keep the world from danger. Without out it then I don’t know where I will be as a young black male or if the world will be at peace.
In this simulation I believe that security goal is more important because we need security amongst us all and our rights of the Constitution. If we did not have security then then anyone or anything will have the right to hurt or put your life in danger. But since we have security then that person can still hurt you but they will get their consequences such as imprisonment. This goal was achieved because as a citizen of the United States everyone needs security that will defend him or her in his or her time of need.
The powers that the Constitution established for this type of problem are in Article 1,4, and 9. It states that the government and other people cannot invade our privacy. In our group the executive we talked about a lot of things but our main topic was the I-chip. The president vetoed a bill because he disapproved an amendment. What I’m trying to get to is that the Constitution is not a bad thing. If the president does not like an amendment that someone is bringing to hi then he/she has the right to veto it.
The separation of powers and checks and balances were used under the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government because it was used to prevent abuse of power. This US form of separation of powers is known as ‘’checks and balances.’’ Under this mode, the state is divided into branches, and each branch of the state has separate and independent powers of and areas of responsibility.
To sum up this essay, the Constitution was effective in finding a balance between security and freedom. In this world that we all live in we have security that will defend us in our time in need. If we did not have the police that is enforced in our neighborhood our the entire country then I don’t know if this world would still be in the shape it is in now. Also, we still have freedom because there are not anymore slaves that I know of right now. Our rights and our privacy are secured and we have the right to do and say what ever we wan t but it depends on our actions if we end up in jail or not.
